Château Haut-Marbuzet ist ein reicher und charmanter Wein, der eine moderne Interpretation von Saint-Estèphe bietet. Er entsteht auf dem Plateau von Marbuzet, dessen kieseliges Terroir auf einem ton- und kalkhaltigen Untergrund ruht. Der Ausbau erfolgt in neuen Barriques und dauert 18 Monate. Haut-Marbuzet hat sich in den letzten Jahrgängen stark verbessert.

Always one of the Médoc's most sensual wines, the 2023 Haut-Marbuzet wafts from the glass with aromas of dark berries, cassis and cherries mingled with cigar wrapper in violets, revealing little trace of its maturation in new barrels. Medium to full-bodied, supple and layered, it's deep and seamless, with an enveloping core of juicy, fleshy fruit framed by sweet, melting tannin. It's a blend of 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. - WK 04/2024

The 2023 Haut-Marbuzet is terrific. Dark, vibrant and quite virile in its expression, the 2023 Haut-Marbuzet has so much to offer. Plum, blood orange, pomegranate, spice and new leather are some of the notes that leap from the glass. Today, the 2023 is quite primary in its intensity, yet all the elements are very nicely balanced. This is a fine showing. - AG 04/2024

Haut-Marbuzet se révèle avec subtilité au travers de nuances florales et fruitées couplées à des notes d'élevage. De bonne densité, le vin crée le lien entre sa fraîcheur et la puissance conférée par les tannins, très fins de surcroit. On ne manquera pas d'également citer l'acidité, structurante, agissant en coulisse et fournissant précision et tempérament. Un vin de caractère qui mise avant tout sur la finesse… la puissance étant pour ainsi dire "donnée" ! - YB 05/2024
